The African Centre for Conflict Management (ACCM), is dedicated to research on issues of conflict, peace building and post-conflict reconstruction and development on the African Continent. It will generate concrete research and proposals to assist African Governments, intergovernmental institutions, researchers, scholars and the public to understand and address the conflict challenges Africa faces.
Working together with the TMF, the ACCM will collaborate with the African Union and African governments to generate country-specific and continental wide proposals on the implementation of the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance. It will also support the mediation efforts of President Mbeki across the Continent.
The ACCM is a partnership between the TMF and the University of the Witwatersrand School of Governance.
